"I was supposed to have my wisdom teeth extraction surgery this morning, but came to find out that my appointment was never set. I came in and set the appointment in person two months ago and came in with my appointment card, but apparently some clerical issue on their end means my appointment just doesn't exist. Now I've got a week of me and my partner's sick leave wasted and 4 aching teeth that I'll be going elsewhere to have extracted. If VCU Dental Care can't set and hold and appointment, I certainly don't trust them with my teeth."

"This place is a joke. I received a referral from my dentist for all 4 of my wisdom teeth to be extracted. I have called twice a week for a month and still have never spoken to a receptionist. I’ve waited 45 minutes each time before eventually hanging up. Finally today I call commonwealth oral and facial surgery. The receptionist answers immediately and now I have an appointment with them. Do not waste your time with VCU."

"I received the WORST customer service ever! I called at 7:41pm on a Saturday night because I was concerned about my stitches falling out too soon after having oral surgery too extract my wisdom teeth. The doctor on call failed to call in a timely manner. I had to call two more times before I finally received a call back at 11:40pm. I was dismissed almost immediately. Problems persisted so I called at 11:06pm on Sunday night. The customer service representative remembered my name and asked if I received a call back the previous night. I was instructed to call back in 30 minutes if I did not hear from the doctor. I called back at 11:52pm because again, I did not hear from the doctor. I finally received a call at 12:01 am from Dr. Randolph. She said "this is Dr. Randolph with VCU dental. I was woken up out of my sleep, what is your emergency?" I asked for her name again because I was surprised at how rude she was and would be sure to file a complaint. She refused to provide her name and continued to express her irritation with being woken up out of her sleep. Two separate occasions with two different doctors. Unacceptable, unprofessional, and very negligent! I read the reviews and despite most of them being unfavorable I figured would give them a chance. I regret doing so. I would not recommend this practice to anyone! In fact if I could give 0 stars I would. Please save yourself the disappointment and find a practice with dentist who are professional and care about their patients."
