"I highly recommend Dr. Kaplan! Due to a bad experience with my own wisdom teeth removal, I was nervous for my 15 y/o daughter to have her wisdom teeth removed at such a young age. But Dr. Kaplan did a great job. She made sure my daughter was comfortable during surgery and my daughter did great after surgery. No complications, and minimal pain (3-4/10 at the most.) Everything healed beautifully and my daughter was eating regular soft foods hours after surgery. I will definitely use her anytime I need oral surgery services. I also recommend that you follow all of their instructions--ice, ice, ice and take the Advil/Tylenol as prescribed even if you don't have pain. It makes a world of difference!"

"I had three dental implants in one visit with Dr. Kaplan. I had been putting this off for years because of, well, obvious reasons. To my amazement the procedure was painless and quick! (at least I think it was). I am a retired gastroenterologist so I have done hundreds of outpatient surgical procedures myself. Dr. Kaplan was very professional and competent. No complications. I highly recommend her."

"I can't tell you Dr. Kaplan was awful because my oral surgeon I've been going to all of my life retired. (Dr. Eschenroeder) His work was far superior. I had an appointment with Dr. Boxx that I was less than 15 minutes late to and had prepaid and could not find the turn off Patterson the first time and turned around and he said it was too late, I'd have to reschedule and I live in Charles City and was in pain. They scheduled me with the only dr with an available appointment (Dr. Kaplan, because her work sucks worse than a student and she didn't do what she said she was going to do like prescribe like my last oral surgery, she does not have a clue how to numb and jabbed me in the roof of my mouth twice without telling me she was going to do that at all, and was so rushed she yanked my tooth out and it still hasn't healed from 7/6 and it's almost 9/6!!! She doesn't even know how to stitch because she used stitches that came out [and Dr. Eschenroeder did not] and she did not give me the same amount of medication I had before as she promised prior to surgery. WHEN DR. KAPLAN PULLED MY TOOTH #14 OUT, SHE HIT MY TOOTH ON THE RIGHT SIDE AND SHE KNOWS SHE CRACKED IT SO NOW I HAVE TO PAY HUNDREDS MORE TO HAVE IT LOOKED AT. I was most upset about that, but now I prepaid Dr. Boxx for the appointment and it was supposed to be a free consultation and they knew I was a patient over 20 years and still they overcharged me a consultation fee and it is on my receipt I prepaid $1,014 and they have they were supposed to charge $980 and I already called about a refund for the consultation, but of course that went nowhere and the office has failed me too. Now that I know her pliers banging my right tooth were the reason it got cracked I should have a lot more than a refund of the whole thing. I tried to tell Dr. Boxx on follow up how incompetent Dr. Kaplan was comparing the previous work with hers it's obvious her work was bad, but he acted like he was insulted I was complaining and as if I were lucky to have been seen by Dr. Kaplan later that day he told me I was too late and I was only like 12 minutes late and I was willing to wait there all day because my tooth hurt waiting over a month for an appointment. I was not lucky to have a healthy tooth cracked during the surgery with Dr. Kaplan. Great I see she barely is anything more than a student so for another doctor to be insulted by her inferior work is ridiculous."
