"Eurowerks' service is unparalleled. After a catastrophic engine failure while driving cross country I had my 1990 Vanagon towed to Eurowerks; they know the Vanagon inside and out. Not only did they handle the installation of a fresh engine and manage the return of the busted engine, they dealt with the warranty issue with the engine manufacturer so I didn't have to. With the fresh engine installed they had the Vanagon loaded on a carrier for delivery to me in NM. Eurowerks has done every replacement and upgrade imaginable to the Vanagon including wiring it up for solar power. When doing the first engine swap a part of the throttle linkage broke, and no replacement was to be found anywhere. Eurowerks found an old school machinist to machine a replacement for the broken part. That is exactly how awesome this auto shop is. If you have a German vehicle you love, send it to Eurowerks. If you have a German vehicle you hate, send it somewhere else."
"Definitely not an alternative to the dealership at $169 labor the extra $20 the dealer charges is worth the nicer loaner once they finally have one available. I'm hoping it was just me and this was a one off experience because everyone was very pleasant while letting me know no grease will be used. The parts were billed at the dealer markup and they wouldn't accept client provided parts. They have a good thing going because the area dealers won't look at your car for a week but want it on site with no loaners available. This concerned me as I'm just used to better service but it is a sign of the times and the region. My bill in total was $4600 including the difference the warranty company wouldn't pay. So I paid $3400 to replace a water pump and wheel hub. After a day's work I didn't have the gas to protest but the repairs took two weeks longer than I was told, and what hurts most is I have significant scratches through the clear and base coat on my passenger door beneath the side mirror that occurred sometime during the month it was at the shop, and a large section of superficial scuffing on the driver side. I entered this agreement thinking I was paying a premium for convenience for which they ultimately came up short. But everyone was professional and pleasant to deal with. I just think the dealer is a better option since you're going to pay a premium anyway. They know the local market and exploit it as they should. On my way out another customer came in inquiring why he was quoted to pay $1000 more for OEM parts that he could provide himself! I was told my transmission pan was missing a screw and they would provide photos of it as well as damaged bushings and and the wheel hub. I don't doubt the bushings are worn and as the cars are super high mileage and wheels hubs are likely shot because the previous owners didn't properly maintain the car. But the undercarriage was gone over with a fine tooth comb looking for leaks as I got an inspection done while having other fluids serviced, and the only missing screws/ bolts were in the splash guard. So I was eager to see the photos but never received any. See full review on Audizine/reddit w/ audio of interactions documents and before and after photos. Vehicle is driving great though."
"I took my Jetta in for a check engine light and they were incredibly thorough! They gave me an itemized list of all the issues with my car and included photos. Glen called me to talk through what was wrong and he was very helpful and knowledgeable."
"Really great first experience here. Had them program a new key for my 2017 GTI. Being new to VW, I thought getting a key would be easy--they are the only non-dealership option that I am aware of! While at it, they also did a thorough examination of what felt like everything! Down to checking the date codes on the air filters. Really thorough and positive experience! Will be back! Excellent communication."
"Highly recommend! So glad we found this shop! We had a great experience overall, but really appreciate the depth of knowledge, speedy work, excellent communication and friendly staff. Most importantly, we trusted them with our 2011 GTI that we hope to keep on the road for at least another 10 years and it is finally running the way it should be. Happy car, happy customers! Thank you!"
