"Dr. Malone and his staff are all very friendly and professional. I love my hygienist and Dr. Malone both! This office reminds me of the good old days where dentist actually scrape and clean teeth the right way. Not like other offices that just floss and run the polish over you teeth then push you out the door like cattle. This office actually take their time to take care of me."
"Dr Malone and staff are like family. Recently had a chipped tooth and they worked around my schedule to get me in as soon as possible. Great Dentist, even better people. Highly recommended"
"I have been seeing Dr Malone since I was in my teens. I'm well beyond that now. I will not see another dentist unless Dr Malone retires and then I will reluctantly look for a new dentist. When I moved to Fredericksburg, I continued to drive back to Richmond for my dental care. I have family members who see Dr Malone and will not see anyone else. When I had a tooth break on the weekend, I called his office & got his home number, left a message & he personally returned my call that night. The entire staff is friendly, professional, and gives a high level of care to the patients."
"Back in March, Dr. Malone was seconds away into drilling into an imaginary cavity in my mouth just before I went with my gut and walked right out of his office for the last time! To think about the way I was treated and he made me and my family feel over our past few visits, and to now know that he was going to fill a cavity that didn't exist in the first place, leaves me so upset and feeling violated by this man! In December, Dr. Malone's staff performed a yearly exam and cleaning, and apparently identified a cavity through x-rays. We scheduled the filling for March when I would be back home from school. I went in for the filling, and must admit, his hygienist was very sweet. Dr. Malone seemed annoyed the moment he sat down and began poking around my mouth. I expressed an upcoming school trip to Curacao, and he scoffed and explained how smelly and gross the island is. He continued to speak negative statements about the scuba diving and area, which was uncomfortable thoughts to be left with before having a cavity drilled. He was aggressively scraping my teeth and regularly catching my gums, more than I've ever experienced in my life, and of course, I squirmed a bit. He became very frustrated and upset, and expressed that four year olds behave better, and I need to get over it. I explained that I have some dental anxiety, and wished he would have a bit of patience and compassion, and explain the processes he was doing in my mouth. He became condescending and demeaning, and expressed that I "should never scuba dive again if this makes me anxious" (I had said it was an activity I love) and that I "need sedation dentistry because I have extreme psychological issues" which is dramatic, as I have not needed those services for previous fillings or dental work. The issue was that he was aggressive, demeaning, and impatient. For the first time I've ever felt in my life, I did not trust that Dr. Malone, as a healthcare provider, would keep my comfort or best interests in mind, and I got out of the chair and refused to continue in his 'care.' I scheduled an appointment with a different dentist for the filling, and went in for the appointment. The dentist was so empathetic, patient, and soft. She began cleaning, and could not find signs of decay, so took x-rays to try and find this cavity that apparently needed to be filled. Turns out, there was no cavities anywhere in my mouth to be found! Not only was Dr. Malone rude, condescending, and demeaning, but he was going to drill a cavity that didn't exist in the first place! Not a happy..."
"Dr. Malone and his staff are excellent... Personable, professional, and good at what they do. I'd highly recommend them."
