"The space is visually awesome. It definitely breathed some life into my container building visions. I went during a special evening event so only 2nd and 3rd floor were open and we had to wait in line to enter due to the capacity. Music was decent, we ate light, vibes were cool however bartenders on top floor could have been more pleasant. Would like to visit again to get a daytime experience, check out the vinyls and explore more of the menu"

"Experienced ONLY YOU LOUNGE @ Veil on the 3rd floor & the two entrees being highlighted were AWESOME!! The Short Rib Pappardelle with red pepper coulis topped with parmesan. The Short rib was so flavorful and tender. As was the Hanger Steak with Creamed Kale and Mushrooms. The cream sauce was delicious. The vibe & music was of a cool, moody lounge as the music perfectly switched between slow jam, tribal house, & smooth funk!!! Highly recommended and can't wait to return for another chill meal!!"

"Went on a Wednesday night for their burger and beer (for $12 Jan 2023) deal. Compared to another place in Chelsea, it’s not quite as good of a burger but solid so I enjoyed The Veil. The bread is similar a poor man’s version of brioche but still good — similar to Popeyes’ chicken sandwich bread. Burger is done well — aka well-done. There’s no option for medium, rare, etc. Fries are fine, frozen and larger than than shoestring fries but smaller than steak fries. Ordered their wheat beer with the deal. It’s fine. I’m not a beer person so my opinion is neutral. It wasn’t packed so food came out pretty quickly. I would recommend it as a generous 4 star. *I also tried their Thursday night wing night $1/wing. It’s good. Wing size is good but flavors are okay. Their Vietnamese fish sauce is on the salty side. They need more lemon pepper to bring out the flavor. Their garlic Parmesan needs less sauce and more cheese. The honey one is their better one. I am a wing guy and ran a restaurant so probably I would cook the wings a couple of minutes longer and probably higher heat —it may shrink the wing marginally but it will bring out the crispsy side more."

"Great time! They have 3 floors, each unique, but all feed into the ambiance of just being a great place to hang out. The top floor has windows that open in warm weather, a bar, and an open and airy feel. The second floor is dark, with a few TVs (and a bar); it's relaxing and intimate. The first floor has the main bar and food pickup with an air of interpersonal connections. The main floor also has the outdoor seating with a pergola. Overall, good brews, good people, plenty of space."
