The Great Stone Face

"Very interesting find during our travels to the Big Stone Gap area. I was looking for something accessible to do for a multigenerational group of family members. The Great Stone Face is easy to find. Don't forget to stop at the dilapidated building on Highway 421 North just past where Google maps says "you have arrived". Park the car, get out, and turn around. You'll be able to see it! It is not as easy to see from below the "Face". Go on up to the dilapidated building that I mentioned and it is easily recognizable."

And did God make that? She would say how cool it was. Though it was really cold when we stopped, I would do it all over again In a heart beat! What a memory!"
