"Great evening tonight at the pub with my wife Karin. Lee did an excellent job behind the bar. We will be back!"
"Surprisingly good food, service is hit or miss. Outdoor space is great view of the golf course, indoors space is very mediocre atmosphere."
"Went for the prime rib night special and was surprised that it was buffet style for the cost. The prime rib was seasoned well but overdone for my preference. Not a good value for the price."
"The food was good but the menu has become limited. The staff is friendly and do their best even when short staffed many times. You can eat inside or on the patio when it is nice out. They have live music most weeks if you like that sort of thing."
"I used to bring guests to The Pub 5 or 6 years ago. We always had a good time and the food and service were acceptable. At dinner recently, the dining experience was unacceptable. One piece of fried fish($18.96) was tender but tasteless. Tiny paper cup of coleslaw was also tasteless and made from the cabbage parts one normally throws out. I was disappointed by the menu options which no longer even include baked potato as an alternative to fries or chips. My friend ordered salad with "blueberry pomegranate" dressing that looked and tasted suspiciously like raspberry vinaigrette. In planning for future visits, I could have abided the pedestrian cuisine, but not the prices - definitely not the noise. The rock/pop music in the restaurant that we had difficulty conversing across the table. At my request, our waitress said she would lower the music volume, but there was no change in decibels. On a dining area or public spaces background music is supposed to be in The Background: not loud enough to drown out all other sounds. As I had brought my guests to The Pub for visiting over a meal in an elegant, peaceful setting with lovely views, I will not be going here again."
