"Nice people and first review ever so this should be fun. This dealer took me to the cleaners and I do feel successfully scammed. Just to replace a backup camera, their diagnostic machine test ($190) told me it was a wire causing the issue and it would be $400 to run the wire test to see which one it is. I ran the wire test as suggested and they told me it was the camera. So far, this is 190 for initial inspection and $395 for wire test without anything fixed. To fix the camera, they want another $700, which is what I initially came in for (saying the camera was the problem) To me, it seems like they gave me the run around to get their profit up. Then they blame me for causing the issue with the camera by trying to replace it myself (who wouldn't when they want close to 2000 for an hour activity that involves plugging one in and out) The software does not support installs from outside the dealership so note that if you have the same issue. I have been going to this dealership for many years, skipping over Malloy and Ourisman closer to me in Arlington but I have now realized the error of ways. A simple issue turned into something that will result in almost 1500-2000 now. So whether you have a simple or major repair and are shopping dealerships, I would rethink. I also recommend Auto America in Shirlington for non-Ford specific issues."
"Very friendly staff, but coming from Philadelphia that doesn't compensate for poor service. I went in for an oil change, felt pressured to do some $800 coolant flush which I had to turn down more assertively than expected since a simple "no" wouldn't do. (though I did dip for the oil additives, which was advertised as $100). The I'm told they need to do the recall on some door handles. Fine, sure. I brought my car in on a Thursday. I didn't see my car until Tuesday the following week. I had to reach out to them constantly to try and get updates, and somehow the parts they were waiting for were always "coming tomorrow." The story only changed once when apparently the technician working on my car was MIA. In the end the bill was nearly 200 bucks, a %100 upcharge of what I was expecting, and the only reason it wasn't over was because I, a layman, had to remind them that recall maintenance and parts are covered by the manufacturer. Honestly, I don't know how much I can chalk up to incompetence and how much I can chalk up to maliciousness. My advice is to avoid all Sheehy establishments, as my fiance' nearly went through something similar with their Honda dealership."
"TT is great! She is very helpful. The entire staff is great. Justin gave me a great quote and I was happy with my repair."
"On June 1st I bought a car at this agency. I went on vacation on the 20th and returned on July 4th. So I drive the car for about 20 days or so, I took it through the car's system, it told me that it needed an oil change but the sticker said September or 3 thousand more miles. Well I took it I made the appointment. I left it and they called me two hours later because they found something wrong in the rear caliper, I went and they left me with a bill of more than $800 dollars. and I told them that the car had the VIP that they themselves offer. But they don't know because one has to tell them and remind them of the services that they have and the guarantees of the car, even more so when they had just bought the car at the same dealer. I left the car on July 14th and only on July 17th did they tell me that the warranty was going to cover the problems. You can't believe that a car that you just bought has so many problems and apart from that they take longer than necessary to solve the problems, apart from that they don't want to give you a car because they say they don't have it at the dealer. I do not recommend any purchase of any kind in cars in this place at all"
"My December 2022 oil change visit was a new low for Sheehy at Springfield. I knew it was going to take 3 hours because the service writer said so, and it's never been less than 3 hours. When I came out of the waiting room at the 3 hour mark to check, my paperwork was just being done. The "gopher" (employee whose job is to fetch vehicle for customer) went to retrieve my car then returned to the lane where I was standing a couple of times to ask what kind of car, what color, description, and finally, whether this is a large or small car. I thought that employees of the dealership were familiar with general characteristics of modern Fords, but this gopher was stumped when the strategy of walking around randomly clicking the key did not locate anything (and that seemed like a good strategy to me too). Eventually, I began walking the parking lot with the gopher, and this took us to the adjacent or overflow large parking lot, Up and down every row we went, until the gopher thought he spotted a white car in the distance. Away he went to fetch it and returned a few minutes later driving the car with the rear hatch open. I quizzed him about how much of my stuff fell out of the open hatch, and he said none because the hatch had just suddenly opened (not because he was clicking all the buttons on the remote?) I had him take me to the parking spot to check for fallen out gear. That's how I discovered that my car had been parked ON THE TENTH ROW from the quick lane. So far away you can't even see the building. We passed many open spaces on the way. So how long had my car been parked? And why would Sheehy not simply bring it back to the lane for my immediate departure, rather than make me endure another 15 minutes of torture? This is apparently Sheehy's notion of "VIP" service, for which I prepaid a lot of good money. If I ever buy a car from Sheehy again (and I am a repeat customer), I'll just change the oil myself."
