"I went to Dr Chalker because I had a Cracked lower Front Tooth and She accepted Humana Insurance. Her 2 Techs hit my Painful Tooth Twice as They took sloppy X-rays. Kurt, The Receptionist was Very Nice, but Very Busy. I Met Dr. Chalker, She said "Yes You do have a Bad Tooth that I can't Save. You need to choose a Surgeon to pull it. I have a few in Mind." I Replied " No Thanks, I am going to Dr. Kesecker. He is the Only One that Pulls My Teeth out." She looked at Me... Didn't like That I Knew Dr. Kesecker." I asked for an Antibiotic. She told Me ... I didn't Need One. Today, is the 28th of July Dr Kesecker, I have a Huge Abscess and You were Wrong Not Giving Me an Antibiotic. I couldn't Pull my Tooth out."

"You will get scammed here. I wish I had posted this review sooner but I kept second guessing myself. When I moved to Harrisonburg several years ago a few colleagues recommended I go here. The office is really nice so I kept going. Despite the fact that I have always had great teeth (my parents spent so much money on braces, retainers, cleanings etc.), Dr Chalker said I needed fillings every time I saw her. One time she suggested I needed 3 fillings, and that I get them done over 2 appointments. Getting 2 fillings at once traumatized one of my teeth so much that I then was in pain and needed a root canal. After that she said I needed more fillings. This was suspicious so I stopped going and switched to Family Dentistry. Not only did the Dr there tell me I didn’t need any fillings, I also overheard an older gentlemen leaving their office while I was in the lobby saying how confused he was that they said he didn’t need any fillings but Dr Chalker said he did. I have since learned that dentists will tell you you need procedures that you don’t need to fill their books. Always get a second opinion!!!"

"Awful customer service. I’ve waited for an appointment for over a year. Made my first appoint to find out they had cancelled it. Rescheduled the appointment waited two months, they sent me a txt message to let me know my appointment is cancelled again. I called the office to see if we could fix the issue as I was having symptoms and a bad toothache, let them know I’ve been waiting for this appointment for more than a year to which they said “they aren’t the only dentist in town”. Don’t recommend this dentist and the clinic. Poor customer care service."

Doctor Jennifer and her staff are always friendly and welcoming. They always bring such a positive attitude and makes the atmosphere very comfortable. They always talk to you and want to know more about you. Doctor Jennifer is such a sweet lady to meet and she always makes you everything is good and perfect before letting you go. She deeply cares about her clients. I love that they work with insurance companies to make sure to have a beautiful smile on your face!
