"My mouth always feels better the instant Dr. William Wang lets me up from his chair. Here’s why. Plaque is an irritant. He usually evicts all 100% of my build-up in about 20 minutes. Metabolically I build up tartar so fast that either he or a hygienist must debride my subgingival calculus and oral biofilm every 90 days. The big difference is it takes any hygienist a bit more than an hour of scaling, without reaching quite all of it. But the good vibe I have experienced in his operatory every six months since 1998 does not come just from his speedy manual dexterity and professional competence alone. It comes from being treated by a talented man who has found his true calling. That’s why for me visiting his dental office is an expected pleasure. (I can’t say that for any other dental office where I’ve been a patient. I’m now age 82.)"
