"I went on a Friday at 3:30 from the national park just to find out they were appointments only that day. There’s no cell service so you can’t even make an appointment when you get there and literally nobody was inside and the doors were locked. They do have this information on their website but that doesn’t help me when I’m searching for places to go to in the mountains with no wifi (downloaded Google maps offline) It would be nice to try something from here but I would never know"

"We made the trip out to visit Cobbler Mountain Cellars after trying their cider at a local bar and enjoying it. While the cider is delicious, I would pass on visiting. - They don’t list prices anywhere in the tasting room. I was shocked when one 16 oz cider and a non-alcoholic seltzer rang up for over $20. We found out when we were leaving that they include souvenir glasses in the price without you asking. We would not have opted for glasses, so I did not appreciate having them included without our knowledge. - The ambiance is less than desirable. The inside seating areas are dark and cavelike, and the outside is a bunch of old picnic tables haphazardly placed around the property. - The cider is definitely good, I just would personally pass on making a far trip to visit. There are too many nicely maintained places to visit nearby that I would rather spend my time at."

"Go and relax with a great selection of hard ciders. Bring a picnic and some comfortable chairs. The views are wonderful. Plenty of parking."

"Awesome spot for cider! We stopped by after spending the day in the Shenandoah Valley and it was a beautiful spot with so many cider options! Our groups favorites were the watermelon, blueberry lemonade, and apple house! We sat outside on the picnic table. Huge plus that it’s dog friendly! Check them out if you’re in the area, we’ll be back."

"The owners are super friendly! I met the son in Columbia, SC at the Farmers Market giving out samples. I absolutely fell in love with the apple donut cider! Long story short, I drove 6 hours to VA to this location and found that the owner had put a case of my favorite cider off to the side for me with my name on it. So sweet of her! It was well worth the drive! I just wish they had distributors here around the Charlotte, NC area- they would be a hit & easily put all their competitors out of business! I love love love this cider & HIGHLY recommend! Especially the Apple Donut & Snickerdoodle!!!"
