Reviews of Econo Lodge Inn & Suites
"Not a bad hotel for the money but things need to work and have some sort of breakfast(which it states you do online). The elevator, ice machine, and soda machine didn't work and maybe some kind of breakfast (McDonald's is right across the parking lot though). The staff are extremely nice and helpful! I hate to say but you'll probably get a better deal further north. Crazy deposit policy so be aware. Call ahead!"
"They state breakfast is included on Agoda, but it is a lie. They do not serve any food. There was a coffee machine but empty. The staff was so rude and lazy that he didn't apologize or promise to correct the false statement. Wifi disconnects often within less than a minute and is extraordinarily slow."
"One of my worst hotel experiences ever. All night long, these strange, super-load noises, as if we could hear the uh beds shaking. But it wasn't what you'd think because it as way too loud, way too brief, and every several minutes. Room smelled. And the indoor pool we chose the place for was permanently closed."
"Sleeping here was pretty rough. I'm usually the sort of person who can handle a suboptimal hotel experience fairly well, but I guess cigarette smoke is my weakness. We reserved a non-smoking room, but when we arrived the clerk informed us that the room we had reserved was not available and they were going to "upgrade" us to a suite for free. She didn't mention that it was a smoking suite. I didn't find the odor of cigarette smoke overwhelming or even immediately apparent, but my nose and throat began to feel irritated within minutes of our arrival, and it was just hard to sleep. My daughter also complained of a sore throat by the time she woke up the next morning. Honestly these were just typical symptoms for a non-smoker sleeping in a smoking room. Positives: The room was clean and serviceable. The desk clerk was friendly and patient. The climate control was working properly. We saw no signs of undesirable insect activity. Negatives: My mattress sagged a little to one side making it feel like I was rolling out of bed the whole night. We got stuck in a smoking room because they were overbooked. The shower squealed loudly. A floor lamp in the room was missing its light bulb. The electrical receptacles in the desk lamp were badly worn, and one didn't work at all. Other receptacles were worn and scarce. The receptacle we used for charging our devices were controlled by the same switch that turned the entry light off. The sofa in the room sagged in the middle. The elevator was broken. The indoor pool was empty and out of service."
"Don’t walk, RUN away from this place as fast as you can. Hotel did not have our room ready, let alone any clean room ready. Host walked in on at least 2 people while just opening random doors trying to find an available room. Elevators were broken, dogs were barking from behind closed doors, pool was out of service and was filled with sludge/algae. The whole place reeked of smoke and my throat started to close up within 10 minutes of being there because of the mold and moisture problems. THEN I had to call 5 times to get them to actually refund our credit card. We laugh about “Nightmare Hotel” now, but honestly I’m still mildly traumatized and we were only there for 15 minutes."
