"Awful experience I had there, if I could give it zero stars I would. I don't know if the lady working was the assistant manager or an employee, but she racially profiled my husband and accused him and I of stealing a game. She watched us like a hawk the ENTIRE time we were in there, literally watched him look at the game and then watched him put it down at the front desk and say "its too much for us right now". She basically chased us down and frisked us as well as make comments that she mumbled under her breath. I have been a loyal member to gamestop and bought most of my games and electronics there, but after this experience I refuse to go back. Apparently just looking around = going to steal. I get people steal, but watching us and then accusing us was just the tip of the iceberg. My husband and I have never stolen in our lives due to our beliefs, so why would we start now? I will be giving my service to old skool instead. As they give better deals anyway and the people are always welcoming. I have worked customer service since 2016 and never once treated people like that, so do better. This happened on Feb 11th, 2023 at the time of 8:37pm."

"Here’s something GameStop staff needs to stop doing, harassing people about buying extra stuff (membership, insurance for games, etc..) It’s VERY ANNOYING! If I wanted what you are offering I would ask for it. It’s not something you can talk me into. The guy who works in the morning is annoying! Then had an attitude and was short with me after I didn’t want to renew a membership. Childish! I will drive further to Chesapeake instead. Plus the parking lot here is terrible."

"I’m not sure what happened to GameStop but this is definitely a change for the better. The staff is great and polite, the manager cares about his customers and staff, the overall experience has been great! And the trade ins have increased! I didn’t come into a GameStop for over 10 years, but I come in all the time now!"
