"Walked in for inspection and the folks here are very good about getting you in if they have the space. Problem is I walked out the door thinking my car had passed inspection and that I could get on with my work week. After going over a few “borderline” issues they handed me the keys and off I went. I didn’t notice until I got into the car and looked over the paperwork that the car had been rejected. So I had about 2 min of satisfaction before walking back in and it being brushed off like no big deal. A few years ago I dropped off my 2002 Forester for diagnosis due to constant humming while driving, after having it for the day Allen tire recommended transmission replacement. I took it to the Subaru guy in town and it was a rear wheel bearing. $380 fixed vs 3,000 and the same hum. This I imagine was technician based but it would have been a real bad experience for me and the shop. They are a great local shop but I urge everyone to follow their diagnosis with a second opinion or you could be short thousands and have the same issue totally unrelated to the fix."

"Let me start by saying this I walked in today 8/4 it’s a friday the guy at the front desk told me they would probably be too busy to look at my car today then the manager came outside i was devastated i’m so anxious when it comes to cars my brain won’t let me be at ease driving until everything is right he said let me go wash my hands then take it for a test drive and immediately i felt at home my father passed away yesterday making it three years ago he was a mechanic and he reminded me of him so much it’s like he could feel how anxious this whole situation was making me.
