Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

"To begin with, the hostess sat us at a table which wasn't supposed to be sat due to the fact that there wasn't a waitress for that area (we were informed of this fact after sitting at the table for 8 minutes, while a young man carrying a tablet around saw us twice and when I tried to get his attention, he chose to ignore us after looking directly at the table both times.) Thankfully a very nice waitress Heidi came to our table and apologized for the wait and let us know what had happened . She was very very efficient,, personable and sweet. She took our food and drink order, had the drinks out quickly and the food wasn't far behind, this was the best service we've had at a Cracker Barrel in a very long time, we will definitely ask for Heidi when we go back."

"We were very disappointed with the amount of time it took us to get our food. There were several people that came in after us plus a large group and they all got their food before us. We ended up waiting 35 min on our simple order of food. The waitress kept apologizing and checking on our order. Then we get the order and the bacon is raw. The waitress told me she’d get another order for me. A gentleman brought it out and it was still half cooked. The rest of the food was good and our waitress was wonderful. They need to step up their game a lot."

"Love going to Cracker Barrel for homestyle food. The chicken and dumplings is always a favorite! The portions are huge for the dinner plate and still comes with 2-3 sides. You can't go wrong with any meal at Cracker Barrel."

"There was no wait when we went. Service was attentive. Food was delicious. Both of my kids got the strawberry shortcake pancakes and we're very pleased. That's a lot of food! Every entree was a large amount of food, but it was all delicious! The store is great for killing time, finding gifts (for you, others, kids), satiating your sweet tooth with a huge assortment of confectionery treats. Classy clothing, baby clothes, stuffed animals, holiday ornaments, snow gloves, college wear, and lots more!"

"Just got take out from Johnson City Boones Creek location, and VERY disappointed!! The fried chicken was barely warm, certainly not fresh made, the Mac n cheese was so watered down it was horrible. The only thing hot was the dumplings! I have no doubt this was leftovers overs from lunch. I should have known when the girl said it would be ready in less than 10 minutes it wasn't fresh! They certainly would not have served this to a customer sitting in the restaurant. We have always had fantastic food from other cracker barrel restaurants! Hot and fresh!! So this was a really disappointing experience!!"
