Reviews of Dayspring Bridal Formal & Tuxedos
"Very kind sales people. The store is located next to the new Dollar Tree, behind the Koto Japanese restaurant."
"This will be a decently long review but please read the whole thing as there is some important information here: - firstly the rental return policy is extremely strict and very short compared with most other rental companies. apparently this is not set by him but is set by the company he contracts with to get the suits/dresses. this detail is important because it affects the ability to have grace for those who cannot return stuff the day after their event. regardless of if you have pre made plans and are physically able to return or not also due to the odd store hours this may effect the ability for some people to return on time and get charged a late fee. they are also closed on tuesdays so if you cannot return monday or if your return in on a tuesday then you get charged even though you cannot return that day. -generally communication is descent with them however if you are like me and sometimes dont pickup details when people speak fast you may need to have the owner slow down for you when he is going over scripted elements of his policy or usage of the clothes he can speed up and this can cause important details to not be retained by the customer. I am unsure if he even mentioned the return date to me upon pickup but I only remember the mention of a $25/day late fee but not the day it needed to be returned. I was in a bit of a rush so I do take responsibility for not hearing this detail however I do think there should be some responsibility to insure your customers clearly hear and understand you especially when mentioning details that can cost low income families more money. anyway I mentioned that if I had understood the return time I would have let them know ahead of time that I had other plans and was unable to return the stuff on sunday between 1-3pm however I asked him directly about this and I would have been charged the late fee regardless. this seems a bit sneaky and I think because the return policy is so strict they need to bear more responsibility to ensure the customer knows they have no grace period for the returns. -now on to the positive, Val (owner) and his workers (did not catch any of their names) were very professional and are great at explaining things you may not understand about the fit of the clothes or how to put them on and take them off. he warned me about a delicate part of the pants that could be damaged if caught by your toe when putting the pants on (strange he explained this clearly but not the return time) and he also showed me clearly how to use the studs and cufflinks. he helped me adjust the vest (I have never worn one before) and he explained how to wear the pants to get the best look. he is super respectful of people's privacy and does well at juggling multiple customers at a time without making any of them feel abandoned! I bumped into a buddy of mine and got talking and he kept checking over with me for when I finished my conversation and once done he was with me within 5 minutes or less. -other things to note neutral Val is a businessman and is good at what he does he enjoys the art of the sale (yes this means attempting to upsale) so if you don't like this then you may not enjoy his character or feel like he just wants your money but trust me this is his personality and I honestly believe he does in fact care about the customer! balancing service with profit is a hard balance but there is an acceptable range and he is well within that range. I hope this is helpful for people to decide if dayspring bridal is the right fit for you. I am writing this to help people and to help Val (owner) and by no means am I trying to retaliate for feeling wronged by the poor communications over the return date/late fee. I am not so hurt that I would not consider doing business with him in the future however I certainly cannot say that I am so pleased that I would not check out other options first. If this was helpful please leave a like so more people can see this review and be made aware of these details about dealing with dayspring bridal. Thanks! -to Val: no hard feelings! -"
"Great place! Been using them for years from prom to weddings. Suits always fit great and get here on time."
"We went all over town looking for a shirt for my son’s suit for homecoming and could not find one. Thankfully we went here and they saved the day! Owner was super nice and helpful!"
"The owner was very overbearing and rude. He put me down and embarrassed me multiple times in front of the whole bridal party and tried to manipulate us in to buying things that we already said we couldn't afford. Giving this whole speech about how we need to give our all for our weddings cause Jesus gave it all on the cross and implying that the more money we spend on dresses the more we love our husbands. Like we were sinning if we didn't buy from him. He also argues with customers on Google if they leave bad reviews and calls them liars and its just very unprofessional."
