"Ice cream sandwich made with care. How is the ice cream this creamy and soft with those cookies not too soft and not too crunchy? I will be back for more. I just read from post they have lactose-free ice cream? I have to go back again and try this! It's too bad there is no place to go inside to eat. I love eating ice cream in winter but when I am not freezing myself. That won't stop me for another one of these though."
"Great ice cream! Great people! Great location! Great hours! I'm lactose intolerant when it comes to processed diary, personally, but I can eat Rookie's with no problem. I think because they get their milk from Homestead Creamery, a good (and local!) farm/source. They don't always have vegan/non-diary ice cream, from my experience, although they've made a lot of new changes, so maybe they do have it consistently now. But either way, their ice cream is delicious and comes from ethical places and the service is amazing! It's one of my favorite places to go for an occasional special treat with friends or just by myself after work to chill and relax and treat myself. Rookie's never fails to deliver the best spot for a spontaneous late night summer adventure with friends either, since they are open late (11 or 11:30 I think). During the warm summer months I could not wait until the end of the week when I got paid on Friday and Rookie's was open to go and treat myself. God bless this place! Rookie's has become very dear to my heart with many fond memories having been made here.❤ (Seen on the pictures is their lemon ice cream and sugar cookie)"
"I've had ice cream sandwiches, but you've never had TRUE Ice cream sandwiches until you come here! The theme of the little trailer is also very trendy. Do note that if college is in session, the lines get pretty long, so be sure to come early!"
