Elk River Snowboard

"Be careful, they will scam you and charge you for extra days. We picked up 4 sets of skis on a Saturday at 5:30pm. They were to be returned Tuesday night so 3 full days of rentals. They charged us for 4 days. Picking up at 5:30 pm is considered a full day rental? I asked the employee working about it (there was only 1) and he blew me off. We wanted to pay cash but he could not figure out how to ring us up with cash. After 15 minutes we had to put it on a card. When I returned the skis on time the following Tuesday I asked a different employee about the situation and he told me we should not have been charged for Saturday but there was nothing he could do about it."

"Had a great experience with Elk River and will absolutely rent again. Their staff is knowledgeable, friendly and so helpful. We visited a few of the other shops around the mountain and by far the guys @ Elk River were the best to work with. Prices were great, rentals were great and I’m really happy we went with the online reservation and saved a couple bucks. I forgot the names of the two guys who helped us but we’ll definitely be back. Thanks for making our trip to Snowshoe awesome!!!"

"Visitted last year friendly affordable service. I stayed in the farm house rental for really cheap, used their hot tub , and ate an amazing breakfast at the inn all for less than 80$. I would not stay anywhere else."
