Ming Garden Chinese Restaurant

"Although we appreciate your service to the community, our selections from the dinner buffet on 12/24/23 were disappointing. We came at about 4 pm and noticed that nothing was fresh, the restaurant had flys in it, and dirty dishes left standing. I think more care in providing fresh food needs to be taken. You also need to step up your cleaning routine. At this time I would not recommend this establishment to anyone."

"Typical Chinese buffet, not much to say. Some of the stuff on the buffet is good when it’s fresh, some of it isn’t that great. Shrimp sauce should be kept cold, not at room temperature. Teriyaki chicken is great and so are the spring rolls. It’s a buffet and there’s always a chance of food poisoning at any buffet so eat at your own risk. Our waiter was very sweet and attentive. Could have done without the employees’ kids being loud near our table and running around the restaurant. Someone had barfed up their food in the parking lot right outside the door…not a good sign."

"This was my first visit to Ming Garden. It was some of the best Chinese food I've ever had! Much better than any Chinese place in my local area. (Southwestern Virginia) The buffet was well stocked, fresh, and hot. I was blown away by just how many selections there were. The egg drop soup was absolutely amazing. It was my favorite out of everything I tried. :) We were seated quickly after arriving. Our waitress was very kind and attentive even though the restaurant was slightly busy. She was good about taking old plates away and providing refills. The booth we sat at was clean. I will be coming back here. 10/10 on every aspect."

"First off let me say i utterly hate to post negative reviews. This use to be such a good place. I get it running a restaurant is tough. Seems like they stopped caring though. Half way through my meal i had to use the bathroom and it was filthy. Then i started to notice the floors, carpets, etc. If you’re not going to bother cleaning the corners you probably won’t properly store your food. Isn’t shrimp sauce supposed to be refrigerated? Food on the buffet was super dry and there were dirty steam pans stacked up on the ends of the buffet and it wasn’t a busy time. I just couldn’t eat anything after I noticed the floors. I owned a buffet so i know the demand it’s hard but keeping things clean goes a long ways. The food i tried seemed good but i just couldn’t get past the filthy conditions. Sorry"
