"We enjoyed it enough to go back twice in one week. I visited with 2 different family and friend groups after Thanksgiving and loved everything. Be sure to mention any allergies because not everything is spelled out on the menu. The drinks were strong. luckily we had A designated driver."
"Their very friendly welcome as you enter the door gets 5 stars. Their amuse bouche (who foes this anymore?) were delightful surprise - shrimp canapés! 5 stars for sure! Then came their version of very soft and moist biscuits (more like cake consistency) served with apricot butter! YUMMY! Ambiance is neighborhood cozy, not upscale but clean, organized and divey. I ordered the salmon salad, asked for substitution cheese - gave me Asiago instead of Gorgonzola. Happy with the flexibility. They even asked if I’d like freshly cracked black pepper…yes please! Salmon was cooked well although they didn’t ask how I’d like my salmon cooked. Only splash of great addition to typical salad greens were the blanched asparagus. This was 4 stars. My friend ordered the scallops and shrimp with mashed potatoes and steamed veggies. The cheese was way too much, everything was soaking in melter butter that my friend had to “wring out” the butter! Green beens could have been elevated- broccolini maybe? Over-all food was high 3 but with service and ambiance, it’s a 4 stars."
"This was our first visit to Blue Seafood but won't be our last. While waiting for our order, we enjoyed watching the TV screens showing underwater fish and turtles. How appropriate for a seafood restaurant! Our server was knowledgeable of the day's menu and friendly. The free appetizers were a nice touch. Prices on the wine list were reasonable for the quality of the wine. Our combo seafood (crabcake, flounder, scallops) was fresh and cooked to perfection. Enjoyed talking to chef Thomas after our meal Five stars across the board!"
"This place was recommended to us by a local BBQ place, and we knew we needed to try it. It was phenomenal. If you're looking for a unique seafood experience, this is it. The atmosphere and staff was amazing, but the food was to die for! I will definitely go back if we are in the area again."
"Per a friend's recommendation, we drove about 40+ minutes to get to Blue. The drive was well worth it. As you can see per the pics, the food looked amazing. It all was well cooked and tasted GREAT. The staff was very friendly and really took care of us. We never had to wait on anything.....even with it being kinda crowded. One thing I REALLY liked is/was how the Chef actually walks around and talks to everyone. If you happen to try Blue, get there early. We got there when it opened at 4pm and when we left, there were a lot of folks waiting to get in. If this place was just a little bigger, it would be that much more awesome. Other than the size of the restaurant, this place ROCKS. We will definitely make that 40+ minute drive again and again."
