"The food is fresh of course. Most importantly they have clean practices. I went there last night. The young woman making my plate got food on her gloves. She took it off and threw it away before touching anything else. This is done so good doesn't cross contaminate. I didn't have to ask. She just did it. I will be a regular because of her."
"The food here while tasty, lacks consistency and effort. On a good day a great place to get a quick lunch at a reasonable price. With an exotic menu for "fast food" it is a great break from the same mundane offers. Try the specials that are being promoted as they require a bit more attention to detail and they come out tasting wonderful."
"I ordered a Greek salad with lamb and chicken along with some pita chips and a lavender lemonade. First off, the flavor of everything was amazing. That tart punch with the dressing, olives and feta - exactly what I was craving. The lamb meat balls were nice and flavorful, juicy. The bits of chicken were also good. My only gripe is I think we ordered too late into the night so the portions were pretty small. The salad/rice combo my boyfriend ordered was small, bowl maybe filled half way. He says he has been going there for a long time and the portions are normally filled to the top of the bowl and he usually cannot finish everything in on sitting. I also didn't have alot of chicken in my salad. We easily finished our bowls and still hungry. I want to give this place another go, maybe in the day time. I've worked in restaurants so if anything the kitchen might of been low on certain things or didn't want to prep more veggies & cook more chicken so late into the night. Overall it was good. Just wished the sizes were better."
"This place reminds me of Chipotle, but with Mediterranean food. It was my first time here and I decided to try the market spice bowl. The falafel and all the ingredients were made fresh and delicious. I will say that for $12 my portion was on the smaller side and not very filling. It seems like they give you bigger portions if you build your own bowl though. There are several ways to customize a bowl or wraps, so that’s nice. The pineapple apple mint and blueberry lavender juices are pretty good. It was busy but the line moved fast and service was quick."
"I ordered the Super Greens salad with Falafel and an array of toppings. In comparison to the Chesapeake location, they were SEVERELY lacking in the portion size and proportion of toppings given. It was still delicious, but VB is really skimpy and didn't give you what you pay for. I'll try them one more time to see if it was a fluke."
