"As someone who lived in Nashville for many years, I was a regular at iconic places like Prince's and Hattie B's. After moving to VB, I've been disappointed with all spicy chicken offerings. And I've tried a lot of places. When I heard of this place opening, I was really excited. So much so that I queued up on the first opening day (today). Something I've never done for anything ever. Also got a tshirt for the effort (thank you!) Coming to the main event - the food. Got a Nashville hot chicken sandwich at 2 different spice levels - After Burner and Angry Hot, tenders, and loaded fries. Pros: I'm pleased to report that this is the best you'll find in the area. Well worth the trip. The chicken was juicy and well seasoned. The loaded fries was the star for me and my wife. It was perfect. Cons: take this with a grain of salt since I visited during the first day rush. There may be some growing pains involved. The breading could've used a bit more of the "crinkly and craggly" bits. For sandwiches, the buns, sauce, and coleslaw cut down on a lot of spice. So definitely go up a spice level for sandwiches than what you're comfortable with. Also forgot to ask for no coleslaw on my sandwiches. In a vacuum, this place is definitely 5 stars. But since I can't help but compare to the Nashville greats, I'm taking one star off. Overall, this place is a great addition to VA beach. Will definitely be going back."
