My two teenagers ordered make-your-own bowls and were able to pick the exact protein, vegetables and rice that they wanted with a sauce on the side. I had a shrimp bowl and my husband had Ahi Tuna bowl. Beyond pleased with the selection, seafood options, value, service and taste! Highly recommend."

"We had heard good things and so drove in out. So glad we did. The poke' was fresh and delicious without the fishy taste that so many others try to hide. The toppings also were very good. It was early so we were the only patrons. Staff was super friendly and the decor was relaxed. We will make the trip again and in the process surely pass a handful of "poke" locations offering less than fresh, less than good ingredients. If you are still reading this, grab your keys and drive over. Your tastebuds will thank you. Returned 5/20 still so delicious."

"We were so excited to see a new poke place coming to East Beach/Ocean View. Unfortunately, both of our bowls just didn’t quite meet our standards. The same ingredients at Poketastic in Chesapeake (and the one by the outlets) taste superior, and for an overall lower price. The bowls were good, just not great; and definitely overpriced for the portion size compared to their competition. $4 for a small cup of watered-down iced matcha? I get paying off your overhead; but maybe tone it down a little. The staff definitely isn’t fully comfortable with their assortment/menu yet. They seemed unsure/uncomfortable about what they were asking each guest (not just us.) I’m sure that will improve with time; so I’m not going to knock them for that. They were very nice and apologetic for the wait. I wanted this place to be great; they just have room for improvement before they get there. It may sound like I am bashing this restaurant; but it’s not like that. This restaurant is really good; it just wouldn’t be my first go-to when the carving strikes, it yet at least. I look forward to giving them another shot down the road. Maybe they’ll change my mind."
