"The worst service we ever had there! At 10:10am, we walked in only to be told they were about to close. Listing time is 12:00 closing. We sat down anyway. We were told there was only one serving of corned beef hash and no hash browns. The waitress had a bad attitude, and the food, an order of bacon, eggs up and the lone serving of corned beef AND the toast was COLD. Hubby ordered scrambled eggs that was more like an omelet, not scrambled . If he wanted an omelet, he would have ordered a CHEESE omelet. And his bacon was cold as well. I did not finish eating the COLD meal. Said waitress was belligerent as she removed our plates. We were seated near the door to the kitchen entrance and scraped off my plate quite noticeably loud. And for all of her rudeness and surprisingly cold food, I STUPIDLY left a $5.00 tip on a $24 bill. Next time, we'll be going to Jessie's Place around the corner. It's a shame because I work and live within walking distance of Tubby's, and my boss gets our Friday breakfasts there. One of my coworkers doesn't get her breakfast there anymore either as Piggly Wiggly is closer to work and a better price. She knew immediately of said waitress as soon as I told her how we were treated. Said she was always like that. Maybe she should look for a job more satisfying to her personality! What THAT would be, I have no idea! So NO. Not a happy camper!"
