Subway

"I have been to this Subway several times (as it is in a convenient location) and no matter what time of day the bread is stale. I ask for extra tomatoes and pickles in my foot long and I get 6 slices of tomatoes and 7-8 pickles chips. The couple who works (possibly owns?) The shop are soft spoken and when I ask them to repeat their question they sometimes have given me attitude. Edit on 2.04.2024- went back to the subway and got a turkey sandwich with double cheese in it except the gentleman wouldn't put the double cheese in it? Also asked for extra tomato on my footlong and he added 1 more slice. Can not stand this location, will never be back. I would advise go to jimmy Johns a block or 2 away."

"I got the worst customer service yesterday that I have ever received and I’ve been to plenty subways! I was in between classes because I just started at TCC community college in Norfolk Virginia. The older lady discriminated against me and I feel violated since no one else was treated with such disgusting behavior. I came in line to get a wrap the older man fixed my wrap at first then when going to the vegetables The older lady came to fix my wrap. I asked about More cheese. She complained about me getting more cheese, which I said that I don’t mind paying for then I go to get my lettuce and things I was pointing at what I would like. She told me I could not point at my food I wanted, then proceeds to tell me once I asked for olives and more onions because she literally put three onions and four olives on my wrap she said that was her food, and I’m not going to waste her money she took away my wrap and told me to get out of the store for no reason again I did not have a problem paying extra if that was the case but I’ve never went to a subway where you could not get more olives or onions and That was a problem , I called the police and they did not come up there in time before I left. The lady started recording me on her phone and nicely the son gave me a few cookies because he saw how bad his mother, I’m assuming was treating me and she pointed at me and said that I would have to pay for that which he intercepted and said that he will pay for it because of her behavior I will be filing a complaint. This was the worst customer service I have received from a subway. EVER"

"I ordered Doordash for this Subway. Two of my sandwiches were made incorrectly so I called to notify them of the mistake. The woman who answered the phone was very argumentive, she did not want to listen to what I had to say, she kept talking over me and interrupting me each time I rebuttal and she did not take accountability for the mistake she made. If anyone decides to eat at this establishment, it's best to walk in and WATCH them make your orders, other wise don't Doordash this store."

"The owners are very nice considering their store is in downtown Norfolk and having to deal with the homeless, cheap no tipping blk ppl, and the entitled who have moved into the condos that have now blocked the view of Waterside. The wife is very cultured and personable. Won't accept my tips but she says she's been franchising Subway for 35 years and is happy with her life.( in other words she's saying she manages and is well off financially)"

"i walk into the subway downtown norfolk like wow this is nice, keep in mind in there for uber. so i’m told the order isn’t ready and i can sit down to wait but i told the korean lady that i’d rather stand and wait for the order (as personal preference) she then commits to try to force me to sit down and exclaims that i’m in her walking way when i’m nowhere near the door, threatens to call the police and says how she’d never have a son like me and how i’m not getting the order….all because i wanted to stand in the waiting area. i wanted to wait for the order but i quickly accessed the situation and realized i wasn’t in the wrong so i should take action. super rude lady and i don’t know if it’s privately owned but if it is that makes sense"
