I went in today for an inspection and I was impressed! 100% satisfied with the attention to detail with every aspect of the inspection. I've owned this vehicle for 13yrs now and they found all the things that other inspectors ignored in previous years which were definite safety concerns.Thank you for making my experience 10/10. I'm glad to see people still take pride in their profession."

"Overpriced parts and labor, dishonest sales tactics and billing. The whole point in buying a warranty is so that you don't have to pay for parts and labor. If you paid for the part, it defeats the point of the warranty. If the shop manager encourages you to pay for a part, then they're tricking you into forfeiting your warranty so they can make more money. Any discussion by the shop manager as to which part has the best warranty of its own is just a distraction from the fact that they tricked you into forfeiting the warranty that you already paid for. This is exactly what the shop did. I had a starter go out in my car that was covered by an aftermarket warranty, and without the starter the car is disabled. I had my car towed to Skymart for repairs. The tricky part is that the shop has to call the warranty company directly to negotiate what parts and labor are covered, and then relay to the customer what was agreed upon as well as how long it would take for replacement parts to be shipped from the warranty company versus the cost of purchasing the part directly from the shop. The shop manager said they had no idea how long it would take for the part to arrive, whereas when I directly called the warranty company later they said it would have been shipped overnight. I didn't find this shipping detail out until after the job was done. The warranty company gave me a breakdown of how much they paid the shop for parts and labor, and then I compared it to the receipt the shop gave me. What should have been just a diagnostic fee and an otherwise free repair with the warranty cost me $500 after warranty reimbursements because the shop double billed for the diagnostic fee and charged $700 for a starter that you can get online for $350. The starter would have been free to me had we waited for the warranty company to ship it. I later asked the manager about the the doubling of the part price and they replied it was their 'standard markup'. In summary, I feel that I was misled about the availability of the part from the warranty company to trick me into purchasing an overpriced one from the shop, and I was also doubled billed the diagnostic fee via charging me $160 an hour for labor as well."

"I don't know what happened with other car owners with some of their reviews. Anywhere you go will charge mostly for their labor. So thank you Ms Heather and Mr Omar. They provided friendly service while I waited (with 2 young kids in tow) and kept me aware of the costs and why. They got us back on the rd to get my mom to an appt. Even estimates out for work we could not get done at today's. Straight forward service and tips. Me Omar cleared some pine needs and leaf debris from the car and advised us what to be on the look out for to keep the car running well. There were 5 seats to wait in the small place and a restroom, public. A working TV there too. The space was clean. Be advised you will have to leave that part of the store to pay within the convenience store. Other than that I have no complaints. Will update if something wasn't as it seemed. We will be back."

"Skymart on Lynnhaven is simply amazing. Great place and I recommend this place to anyone that has car issues. Heather did an outstanding job assisting me with what needed to be done to my car and she was very easy to communicate with. She is extremely knowledgeable with cars. Chris was my mechanic and he worked on my car as it was his own. He did a great job on cleaning my headlights and took no time fixing the breaks and inspecting my car. I honestly never seen my headlights this clear. This is a great place to take your automobile and the service was real fast."

"The service manager Heather just saved me sooooo much money. I recently had my brake system in my avalanche replaced at the 76 on shipps corner, and they completely ripped me off for over 1800 dollars. When I called Heather, she was able to look at my truck and diagnose within just 1 hour. And found the faulty work that the previous shop claimed they fixed and replaced but they didn't. She was able to fix my truck in less than 24 hours. The metal brake lines were rusted and leaking, and Shane replaced them and saved my truck!!! The team at this shop is so friendly and they make you feel like family. I will be bringing my vehicles here from now on. This is the best service shop I have ever been to!!!!!!!! Thank you to Heather and Shane for fixing everything in a pinch. My truck is our lively hood. Without it, we would have lost everything."
