"Truly awesome food, a must-visit Norfolk gem. Biscuits are perfect, savory and delicious. Chicken classic is fantastic, Comeback sauce is similar to Chick-fil-A sauce. Nuggets and shorty with bacon great as well. Dolly Madison is a must-try dessert, plenty of cream cheese frosting and mixed berry jam to satisfy your sweet tooth! Reasonably priced, fast and friendly service."

"This place is so good. Sure the biscuits are not cheap, their classics are >$9, but they taste so good. I got to try a sweet potato and regular biscuit and I preferred the regular. Both were good though. There is no space to eat inside so avoid going on a rainy day unless you are ordering take out. The register is self checkout which makes ordering really easy. They only take card so keep that in mind."

"I went to the Handsome Biscuit today for the first time and I must say it deserves the rating it has. Small and unassuming yet mighty in its taste and delivery on hospitality. Walking up to the building, you notice and soon understand that there is no indoor seating. You should know this before you go so there’s no disappointment (there is outdoor seating). Upon entering, you’re greeted by vibrant and welcoming staff who are excited you are there and more than happy to help serve you. There is a menu board overhead and two POS on the counter where you place your order. Order is not taken by staff which was not a bad experience. Plus, it allowed them to focus more on the food. They don’t accept cash so make sure you bring your card or have Apple Pay or something like that! I ordered the Nashville (fried chicken tossed in Nashville hot sauce) on a bun (I should have gotten the biscuit smh). O so many versions of the chicken sandwich in the culinary universe. What’s so special about this one, eh?! Without knowing the ends and outs of the cooking process, I can tell you that the sandwich was well made and the fried chicken prepared with care and intent. The sauce was spicy, but not overwhelming. It complimented the delicately perfected fried chicken without overpowering it. I opted for no pickles and got essentially a piece of fried chicken with sauce on a bun. My first reaction was that I had made a mistake. Buuuuut, within the simplicity of the sandwich I described lied a delicious experience. The waffles fries were an elevated version of your typical waffle fry. I have no complaints here. The owner happened to be outside and I can’t remember his name (if he gave it), but he was nice and thanked us for visiting. A pleasant, delicious, customer oriented experience."
