"The food is definitely good. It's a small place, the staff is friendly and professional. My daughter and I ate here, the cost was high however we did order few more items. If you're planning to go on a date or pay for a group meal be prepared to pay. I do recommend this place."

"I ate at this place last night. It’s criminal that the place was empty. It’s situated right off campus of Old Dominion University in a perfect spot for students. The tacos were the best I’ve ever had. I got four of them, the Al pastor, Barbacoa, suadero, and the asada. I wanted the carnitas but they were out. The handmade tortillas were fantastic and the sauces, especially the secret house sauce, paired nicely with the taco, pickled onions, and cilantro. I also tried the Mexican street corn and it was masterful, a perfect harmony of butter, cheese, and char. I was disappointed they didn’t have any desserts. The owners are a great family, very talkative and passionate about bringing Mexican culture through food to the city. I’ll definitely be coming back."

"It was one of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve eaten at. The meat was so flavorful, my tortillas didn’t fall apart and plus they were homemade. Our waitress was very informative too. Probably #2 if not #1. Very good food, good service and good drinks. I would definitely come again."

"We stopped in for lunch today, and I am so glad we did! It's a cute little eatery, right near ODU. We were promptly greeted when we came in, and everyone there was so friendly and helpful. We both got the tortas, one chicken, and one steak and chorizo, and let me tell you, they were so insanely delicious. The homemade salsas were also top notch. I can't wait to go back and try other offerings on the menu. They definitely just earned repeat customers with us. If you're in the area make sure to check them out, you won't regret it!"
