"I dropped an inspection off before opening hours. Should’ve been done within an hour of opening, but no. Still, good work."
"Our local State Inspection shop. Always fair and helpful."
"Friendly staff, garage side does a great job and completes work within time frame promised. It is good to have local owned garage that does good work and at fair prices"
"The staff are really nice, and they're convenient to where I live. My first inspection on my pickup - failed..."all balljoints are bad $1010 for repair." I brought the truck home, made repairs, the took it back, and the truck passed. Classic Fiat 500 - failed..."all wheel bearings are loose." I just brought it home and went elsewhere. I had my van inspected there - failed..."turn signals work but blink too fast. $60 diagnostic fee, then we'll see from there." VA inspection manual does not suggest a blink rate/ # of blinks per minute, only that they work, the lenses are in good repair, and that they are clearly visible. I took my pickup back this year - failed..."all the brakes are bad." I brought the truck home. All the rotors are new, the rear brake pads are new, I replaced the front pads because they're getting close. The truck failed..."The brake pads are not making full contact with the rotors." This place is trying to make shop work, instead of simply inspecting vehicles."
"They did an inspection on my wife's car a while back and offered to change the oil while they were at it. She said sure. Price was about 35-40 dollars higher then we've paid elsewhere. Lesson learned. Fast forward to my Jeep in for an inspection. They said it needed new brakes and rotors and they could do it for about 450 dollars. I told that seemed high and i would take it elsewhere for another opinion. Took it to another shop and they said the rotors were great didn't even need to be turned. They changed the pads and did an oil change for 250 dollars. So, two hundred less and an oil change. Finally, when i brought it back for the reinspect they moved about as slow as one could go. Even when i mentioned i was in a hurry. Perhaps when they realized they couldn't gouge me on the price they no longer cared about me as a customer?"
