When the deliverymen inadvertently left behind a hose for my new washer, Danny, a former appliance repair tech, got permission from his manager to come to my home on a Friday evening to install the hose so I wouldn't have to wait until the next week to complete the installation. Danny Delgado is a top-notch professional. Very polite, thorough, and helpful. "If I have to give them one star… Purchased Speed Queen washer/dryer on 7/15/23. Dryer stopped heating on 8/13. East Coast refused to come out and look at it though they delivered and installed the product and we are only 17 miles away from store. Spoke with service department and my sales person. Had to find a Speed Queen repair service that would come out to look at equipment they didn’t sell. Couldn’t make it out until 8/25. Said it was an electrical issue with power cord not covered under warranty. Called SQ, they say it is an East Coast issue. Try to call East Coast again, though their website essentially says that after three days, defects aren’t their problem. I waited on hold for over 2 hours yesterday and never got through. So, I have a $1230 dryer that was less than a month old before wiring burnt up- and no one seems to want to stand by the product. Stay far away from East Coast. I specifically asked if they service their products and was told yes in the store at time of purchase. Buyer Beware!"
