"They have good bar food. Is it super special no it is good. The chicken salad portion was very large. The burger I ordered was good and was cooked medium rare as requested. I also liked the fries."
"This restaurant offers first class food in a no frills atmosphere with better-than-average wait service. Most of my visits have been on nights that The Sportsman Grill offers specials, like All You Can Eat Crab Legs. The cost is a little pricey, but worth it if you love crab legs and have a healthy appetite. On those nights, the crab legs are big and plump, are always perfectly cooked, arrive hot to the table (with hot butter for dipping), and are usually consistently seasoned. I've never experienced a long wait between requesting a new "round" of crab legs and when they actually arrive. Their fries are a notch above the normal fries you'd receive at most standard fare restaurants. The hush puppies are good, especially if you eat them warm. I've visited this restaurant a few times over the years for lunch or ordered other menu items, and the food has generally been fresh, fairly fast and well-prepared, with decent portion sizes. I haven't tried it, but I have a friend who swears their Club Sandwich is the best in the area. This is a sports bar, so alcoholic beverages are available and moderately-sized TVs are displayed prominently throughout the eating area. Beer special advertisements are posted, and prices seemed what you'd expect at a modest-to-moderately-priced sports bar. Bathrooms are basic, but clean. Beware that parking can be an issue, especially at peak meal times or special events. Located near Busch Gardens, it's worth a visit for good American Fare options that are definitely cheaper than the theme park prices."
"Wish I would have known about this place sooner! The customer service is outstanding! Everyone was so nice and making sure we were comfortable. The food came out quickly and hot. The flavors are amazing. The atmosphere is cute with decor and tables seat four. They also have To Go and Catering. We will continue to drive across the water for their food. The taste is authentic and much better than the BBQ places over here. Highly recommend the Hogzilla and the pork rinds. The fries are also great!"
"Nice restaurant with a lot of seating indoors and outdoors! Service was good. Both times I visited I did not have to wait for a seat. I tried to order the fat daddy steamer (1/2 pound of crab legs, mussels, and shrimp) but they were out of crab legs so I had a burger instead. It was good. The nachos and onion rings were also pretty good. They have a decent selection of local beers on tap which always makes me happy!"
