Besos TBC

"The complimentary salsa is excellent. There seems to be a sort of Indian flair in the Mexican dishes. I believe I tasted a bit of curry in the shrimp, and I really enjoyed it. Apparently Besos is under the same ownership of the previous restaurant which was Indian."

"1st visit. Nice atmosphere. Food was good. I ordered a steak and shrimp fajita. It came with lots of steak, shrimp, onions and peppers but only 2 palm sized tortillas. A very small amount of lettuce and diced tomatoes. Also came with black beans. I ordered a frozen margarita which came in a juice cup and tasted like a melted slushie. The waitress was nice but slow in bringing our order. Because it's a recently opened restaurant I may come back and give it a 2nd chance."

"I hate leaving bad reviews, especially for a newer restaurant, but we decided to give Besos a try, straying from our usual neighborhood spot. They were very slow for a Tuesday night (especially as they do taco tuesdays!) this should have been a sign to run. We stood at the door long enough to wonder if this was a ‘seat yourself’ sort of place. After being brought to our table we ordered off the $1 taco menu- now I realize $1 tacos aren’t gonna be quality. But these were inedible- we actually took one bite, and decided that Taco Bell would have been a better choice. The beef tacos were horrendous, the beef tasted as if it had been cooked, frozen for weeks, and then heated in the microwave- I genuinely regret that one bite. The chicken was, at least, edible not seasoned- but didn’t have the rancid taste the beef did. The hard taco shells were not warmed, so they had that store bought straight out of the box chewy texture. We basically both paid for the experience and the knowledge to never eat at Besos again."

"Great new addition to Rocketts Landing!! We have already eaten at this little gem twice in the last week. Their Happy Hour is fantastic. Try the Cracker Prawns. Delicious! Excellent and friendly service and a nice patio. Highly recommend!"
