Slay Burgers

"Stopped by for lunch. Had the Single Bacon Burger Add chilli. Got fries and onion rings. Burger was cooked great. Bun was toasted and it tasted great. Right about of toppings not too messy. Next till will ask for more chilli it was really good. Loved the seasoned waffle fries, cooked just right didn't need anything to go with them. Onion rigns had a nice crispy to them some were burnt but would definitely get it again. Next time going to try the Philly Burger. If you want a good burger for a good price and made to order then this is the place to go."

"Delicious smash burgers that are very reasonably priced. Love to see it. The cashier who I assume is the owner was very friendly welcoming and courteous. This is a take out only place. Will definitely be back."

"Holy smash burgers delight! This is JOOD!! I mean there are just too many superlatives that can be used to describe these burgers! -I had the double bacon cheese smash burger. Have to tell you the downside: It was too much to eat at one sitting! Most strongly recommend. -My partner had the double smash burger. -See the review of the bacon cheeseburger. EQUALLY delish. I cannot recommend this place more strongly! There was only one downside and it has nothing to do the store. Parking. ARRRRRGH! EDIT I'm back home visiting Atlanta this week and my foodie friends and the many folks who ask me about the Richmond food scene ask me about my favorite places and of the 60+ non chain restaurants and the many food trucks I've visited since Feb 2023 one of my most glowing reviews is of Slay Burger. Hands down the best bang for your buck outstandingly delicious smash burger on the East Coast! -No need for condiments kinda burger. -Lick your fingers kinda burger. -”Ohmygawd Um full but need another one so I'll buy another to have it for lunch tomorrow but now it's midnight and oh hell! I'm not even going to heat it up it's so good . . . Oh darn it. What's for lunch NOW" kinda burger! Last night I made smash burgers for my friends down here with Slay Burger as my inspiration (mine are good. Theirs are now the gold standard)! I failed because I now have a new ruler that determines success (one must be willing to learn!) but I'm back home soon and my kitchen range will be off because THEY are doing the cooking my first lunch and dinner! While I like their Slay Burger, their BACON Double Slay Burger is 4x better. But then... That's just my opinion"

"Purely a carry-out spot and has my favorite burgers in town, maybe tied with Cobra Burger in Church Hill. Awesome sides at a reasonable price that reflects the neighborhood and welcomes them. Wings are great. Philly fries are great. Cheese curds are great. Yet to be disappointed by Slay Burgers."

"Got the double burger and onion rings - it felt like the bag weighed 2 lbs! Wow, great onion rings! Perfectly cooked, crunchy delightfulness. The burger was good but I should have gotten the single. I couldn't finish it. Wish it didn't have the mayo too. Seemed a bit greasy. No mayo and single patty next time or that very interesting looking spicy chicken sandwich... :)"
