Reviews of Pinky's
"We came here for a Sunday brunch with 3 adults and 1 toddler. Our reservation was for 11:15am, but they let us sit early which we appreciated. The restaurant was very nice with lots of different sitting options. When our waiter came to our table, he asked about allergies and that is one of the few times I have had a waiter do that. I appreciated that practice as it showed how mindful the restaurant was of allergies. They gave us a large water container with small cups for each of us. For my toddler, they gave us a cup with a lid and straw. Before we ordered food, the waiter confirmed that my husband did not have any other allergies beyond salmon. The food came out fairly quickly. I ordered the "Make it a Sammy" with scrambled eggs, Asiago cheese and bacon. I got a side of ketchup and their garlic aioli. Truthfully the aioli had too much lemon for my taste. The sandwich was nothing special, but was still good. I did not really notice the cheese on my sandwich. I also got a side of potatoes and they were well seasoned. The side of fruit was grapes and pineapples. The grapes were good quality, I just wish they had other fruit options. The rest of the people at my table enjoyed their meals and the prices were not bad for the items we chose. Overall, we had a positive experience. I think if you like regional Mediterranean type food, you may enjoy the food even more than I may have. We left the restaurant by noon."
"Server Charlie and the management team ensured our experience was exceptional. The culinary delights surpassed expectations, with a creative selection of drinks. While we missed having the pickle of our pickle back for us industry folk (iykyk), the prompt service and deliciously crafted drinks made up for it. The perfectly cooked meatballs and octopus, along with a generous portion size, left us satisfied. Don’t miss out on the Calabrian mayo—it’s a must-try with the fries. We departed content and even had to bring home the remaining risotto. Kudos, Pinky’s!"
"The menu is so incredible and it gives a hard time to choose from. I always check it on Google to narrow my search by the pictures. My 2 options were tapas but ended up having something else but did not take any image. The place is beautiful, glad for the outdoor area (it’s always my choice anywhere) and the service is great. I’ll be back and Definitely recommend it."
"Casual dining in Scott's Addition. Our son brought us here for lunch, and it quickly became my favorite restaurant in SA. Great atmosphere with different types of seating, including outdoors. Clientele was diverse and servers welcoming. The menu had lots of delicious choices. We had the 2 eggs (topped with grated machego cheese) with fried chicken (crispy skin and very tender chicken thigh), lemon Pistacio salad with fried chicken on top and the lamb papas bowl with a pitcher of pineapple mimosas. And topped it off by sharing an order of each of the 4 desserts!! Everything was very delicious with great service and attention to customer needs. We'll be back to try other delicious options!"
"Excellent all around. Some of the best food we've had in Richmond. The staff was friendly and attentive without being overly intrusive. The manager, Joe, delivered our food and friendly and made sure we were having an excellent experience. The lamb was one of the best dishes I have ever eaten. Highly recommend the scallops and pork belly dishes as well. Can't wait to go back!"
