"I came to visit family in Washington DC and have eaten here before; it was sightly overpriced but it was good. I discovered that they have a pastrami sandwich so I was pumped to go. Got there at 5:15 and was told at least an hour wait. Okay no problem. 5:35, get notification that there is a table for us but no more pastrami sandwiches. What? I cancel my reso. You know pastrami sandwiches are going to be popular since it’s only one day a week but you run out by 5:30? What! The burgers are good but not that good. Won’t be going back. Plenty of good burgers spots in DC."

"Came here for the Shababi DC by Chef Marcel pop-up and everything was fantastic. The atmosphere was so chill and easy, the staff were fantastic- shout out to Kendrick for being a fantastic waiter and telling us about half off burger Tuesdays! The food was delicious and we literally ordered everything off the menu. The egg sandwich was imo perfect and had potatoes and sweet peppers, the lamb breakfast Sammy was a huge fan favorite, the halawa cinnamon bum was ooey gooey and delicious, the Philo dough apple was ok, and the drinks were on point! Def go check out Hill East burger and the pop up on the weekend, well worth it!!"

"Great burgers! The staff is attentive and helpful. They make sure you always have a drink and the water glasses are full. The menu features options for meat eaters, vegetarians and vegans. The atmosphere is family friendly. There's a reasonable amount of paid street parking. Public transit is steps away."

"Have been meaning to check this place out for months and I finally made it here for a Sunday brunch to meet with an important acquaintance. First, brunch runs until 3pm so I was disappointed to not be able to try the Nugs here. I have egg allergies but the build your burger option is a good look if you are looking for a non-brunch food brunch option. The drinks were tasty and it took a bit to get used to the app-only ordering system. The burgers are the thin smashed style so I definitely recommend at least two patties. While on the small side, the burgers were still very tasty. Seems like it would be a great place to hang out for a late night drink or snack so I’ll have to come back soon!"

"The Pueblano hamburger was so juicy and tasty. I have to say I was a bit skeptical at first but the flavors were happiness in my mouth. The fries are not to be missed either. Will definitely be coming back on my next visit to DC."
