Reviews of Warrior Cafe DFAC
"I ate better food at Basic Combat Training then I did at this DFAC, truly pathetic how terrible it is."
"Going in you have to acknowledge that this is a DFAC for trainees. The food is not going to be great. They serve a specific function, to feed lots of trainees. If you are not mandated to eat here, seek other options. For those looking at the photos, it looks nothing like that on a daily basis. First, they have a captive audience, they don't have to try. Maybe the staff is burnt out or maybe they rather not be there. It is very apparent from their attitudes. Most (but not all) of the staff you'll interact with are unnecessary rude, easily flustered or passive aggressive. With all the negative reviews, noone from the DFAC has responded or commented (that you can see). Again, captive audience. No matter what they have hundreds pouring through the door. You have to give credit where it's due for the difficult job they do. However, if you're not a trainee, and have other options, leave this DFAC alone. Also, you'll notice most reviews are between 1 and 3 stars, but you CAN'T see them. You only see some."
"Warrior Cafe... It's an AIT DFAC that serves the purpose of feeding soldiers quickly and efficiently. It accomplishes that task and maintains food that while gets dull is still medium quality product. HOWEVER. During my five month stay at Ft. Eustis in training I contracted food poisoning twice from this DFAC and some of my less fortunate battle buddies managed to get the Norovirus which was deemed to originate from this DFAC. Not sure what's going on with that but not like you'll have a choice anyways."
"As military dining facility they have quite good food. People like to complain about DFAC's food all the time, but I think the food in here it's OK. They vary food each day so you don't get bored with same things. They have some good soups and omelette on Wednesdays is really good. The people who work there are nice (as long as you don't act like you're Mr/Miss special). I wish they would have more healthy food options."
