Pho Tu Ech

"We came here off because we wanted to try a new Vietnamese restaurant and because Tyler Cohen said that everything here was good! Thank you Tyler Cohen, because we loved our meal here! Highly recommend both Bun Bo Hue and the Fish Cake soup! Can’t wait to come back!"

"A friend told me about this place and it was on my list to check out. It is nice not having to go into Eden for a decent meal and not having to fight for parking on the weekend. The ambiance is almost bubble tea shop meet pho restaurant. Service was ok, you did have to call them over whenever you needed something. We got the crispy egg rolls, the pho with 4 toppings, and the Bun Bo Hue. The egg rolls doesn’t seem too authentic as I didn’t see any wood ear fungus in the filling. The pho was decent, the broth was a bit salty and interesting they only have 1 size. The portion was okay but definitely towards small or medium. The Bun Bo Hue was definitely my favorite thing I ate. It was flavorful, you can taste the shrimp paste and lemon grass. The meat was tasty and tasted fresh. Seeing how there is a lot of Vietnamese restaurants in Falls Church, I feel they can do a bit more to stand out as their pho didn’t really stand out. Would I come back? Yes, for the BBH and to try some other menu items!"

"The food overall was good. The pho had real pho flavors and was steaming hot when brought out but it was inconsistent. One day the food was fabulous and the next, the food isn't as fresh and hot. Went in a total of 3 times and I don't think I'll continue trying my luck."

"The quality was great and the price is affordable. They have staff shortage due to the pandemic so be patient, if you are in rush so I recommend taking the Pho dish for the best. All the servers are friendly and well trained. The special rice dish which I had was well seasoned. Will come back to try other dishes."

"Heard about this place recently and decided to give it a try. It turned out super great. The restaurant was clean and had a comfortable ambience, waiters were friendly and attentive. The foods were fresh and tasty. I tried their signature Tu Ech roll since Egg roll and Summer roll have been too common for Vietnamese restaurant. It was different in a good way: Different ingredients, different sauce. The round rice noodle fish soup was so flavored and rarely see in others Vietnamese restaurant. I learned that all the foods are cooked to order so they are really fresh and no microwave. So you should expected a little waiting time if you have many people. Highly recommended this place and definitely will come back for more."
