Panera Bread

"The lady behind the counter was gracious. The croissant, even late in the day, was fresh and scrumptious. They were out of light roast, but the dark roast didn't taste burnt. The ambiance is what you would expect. Clean, quiet, generic. I met with my friend, we had a nice game of chess and good conversation. What more can you ask of a chain coffee shop? I'm a devotee of local, but sometimes convenient wins."

"I don’t know what has happened, this Panera used to be great. They are now incapable of getting a single order right or cooking them correctly. They also don’t understand the difference in “grilled cheese” and dry toasted bread. The grilled cheese sandwiches come out as cold deli sandwiches, burnt on top and cold in the middle, or on dry stale bread and cold in the middle. No melted cheese, no butter on the bread, and when you say it was a grilled cheese they just stare blankly at you like you’re from a different planet. When you add turkey it used to be the best sandwich there but three strikes and they’re out. We’ll be going elsewhere."

"I have waited all year long for their fabulous squash soup. I practically skipped into the restaurant in anticipation of this gastronomical gem! They were out of the Squash Soup! I almost cried."

"Avoid here at all cost! First the woman in the front looked annoyed we came in to order. Then she had on so much lip gloss it was spitting from her mouth and all over the place. She just stood there and made us wait 5 mins to order. Then the workers are all walking around with their pants at their knees showing off their butts. The food was just ok but extremely expensive."

"I find this place more spacious than the one in west broad but not as elegant as I am expecting. computer assisted kiosks are available when ordering in case you don’t want to fall in line you just pick a number and it will be delivered to you at the table. clean area. good staff. as usual, foods are delicious and freshly made."
