"They use chicken dogs so the texture is bad. The chilli and grilled bun helps it, but it’s over priced. They don’t participate in the franchise so no deals or ordering on line. Too bad."

"Been going to this DQ for awhile but the most recent visits wasn't the greatest. For one the drive through speakers and or headsets needs an update asap. Because they couldn't hear me properly I assume I got my hotdog and burger wrong. The fountain machine wasn't hooked up correctly as the Sprite was just gross. I understand they were busy lunch hour on a Sunday but I feel as if whomever or the crew could do better with communicating and quality control to ensure good tasting hot food. I know they can do better!"

"Overfilled some blizzards to the point where all of them were leaking over the top of the cups and dripped ice cream all over us and the car. Absolutely no reason at all for them to fill the cups up that much. It should be pretty obvious that if you can't close the lids over the cups of ice cream, then there is too much ice cream! It takes two seconds to check for something like that, but they were rushing way too much. This DQ used to be great, but now it's like the people who work there are just in a rush to get people out the door. I know people value fast service, but we also value competent service that will not leave people and cars sticky and messy. I would not have minded at all if they had taken a few extra minutes to make sure that cups weren't overflowing to the point of making a huge mess, but nope! They overfilled the cups, handed them to us, and rushed us out of the way."

"Fast service, they usually get your order right no problem. Good food all around, especially fries better than most burger joints I've been to. And seriously, if you don't like their soft serve, you must be soft in the head."

"Two words: slaw dog. This Dairy Queen is a Bluefield institution. I grew up eating hot dogs here as did everyone else in Bluefield since 1959. The bun is the same, the slaw is the same, the chili and the wiener - all the same. McDonald’s wishes they could be this consistent. Last time I was here was about ten years ago, so we decided to stop by as we passed through on I-77 this week. Oh am I so glad we did. It was just as I remembered - the tastes, the smells and even the way they take your order. If you live here, you already know. If you’re passing through, take the extra 5 minutes and stop in for some slaw dogs - they are the best you’ll ever have!"
