"I rarely shop here. Prices are way too high. I can buy new itemi cannot see up there very well. Amd books are crazy on price. s for the price they have on used items. I hate the way the store is set up. They organized things by color and not size. I have trouble walking. So if i want to look at pants i may have yo walk all over the whole store. I also dont like the misc items on the rack about clothes."
"They say closed at 8 but they lock the doors 20min before and they won't let you in I called and they said only the customer's in the store can shop"
"The people who work there deserve 5 stars but unfortunately I cannot in good faith give this establishment that kind of review. GOODWILL as a BUSINESS is terrible, less than 1/8 of it's profit goes to charity. Goodwill has actively fought against legislative proposals to raise the minimum wage, seized on an archaic 1938 law to justify paying workers as little as 22 cents an hour. Employees are subject to strict, unrealistic performance quotas, and their wages are docked if they’re not fast enough. If they criticize Goodwill’s practices end up getting fired, threatened, and publicly defamed by the company. Goodwill’s legal status as a charity wins grants and tax subsidies, manifesting in hugely lucrative quantities of profit for executives that are not evenly distributed amongst the people they are intended to benefit. If you don't have to, DONT SHOP HERE."
"This was my first visit and when I first walked in I was already impressed. The jeans were lined up on the wall, easily accessible & easy to find the size. All clothes were individually priced & were organized by color and size. This I had never seen before & I love it. Everything in the store was nice & neat. All the misc items were categorized on top of the clothing racks (could potentially be hard for someone in a wheelchair to see) but I did like it better than shelves being crammed with junk. You can really tell staff & management work together. I highly recommend stopping in."
"I enjoyed this store maybe first 2 visits. But then I notice the smell - of all the unwashed clothing… Yes, I agree with several other reviewers that the prices are outrageous. I used to think of “Goodwill” as a place for low income families to come to buy necessities they could not afford elsewhere. This store is not much lower than Walmart now. NOW - to the clothing… I don’t know whose idea it was to sort by colors, but you may have to go through every color to find an XL or a SM. It makes no sense to me, nor to any of the people I have discussed it with. Come on Bluefield, we can do better."
