"That sweet tea was horrible. I don't know how long it was brewed but I assume it would be in the years not months. A customer next to me tried to warn all of us. He said it was potent. Felt like we were being rushed out. My steak was a ribeye and it was salty, super fatty and the price on menu was $22 yet we were charged $24. ! The sides were meh. Was in town from VA for elk hunting and was told to come by from who I assume was the owner. We wish we didn't. All of our party felt similar. We are usually easy to make happy."

"I sat down with the owner great guy, funny was very nice and he sat with me for over 2 hours chatting and talking about the history and the food was amazing. His chef was a little heavy handed on the salt for my steak tips, but it was well worth the trip. Sweet tea was fresh and delicious and it was very Sweet! Keep up the good work and I'll be back Scotty! Thanks for the memories."

"This was one of the best catfish meals I have ever enjoyed! Amazing new way to make fried potatoes and a fabulous dry rub on the catfish that left it crisp on the outside and sweet juicy on the inside! His homemade tartar sauce and cocktail sauce were perfect condiments to add flavor but not mask the taste! The candied yams were an equally delicious surprise! Wish we lived closer and could come more often! I heard from the neighboring table that the steak was the best they had ever had! And the hamburger at another table looked scrumptious as well!!"

"Nice, quaint place. Food came out quickly, hot and fresh. The cheese steak was delicious, fries cooked perfectly. Plenty of food, and the service was friendly and attentive. I love finding smaller local places when I'm traveling, and this was a gem to find!"

"Our family stopped here on a whim while passing through on a road trip. This is a gem of a place and the proprietor became an instant friend. Steaks were some of the best I’ve had and the shrimp were great as well. The Mac-n-cheese sandwich appetizer with the chili dip is amazing. My wife and I both cook a lot and usually are a bit picky with our restaurants. We were both pleased with every item that came to our table…."
