"Self service AND self checkout. Products are not where they're advertised on their app. Most employees are to engaged with personal conversations to assist customers. Definitely has become a warehouse for lower-end products. Fortunately Home Depot is only 45 minutes away, so with some planning I can deal where my $$$ is appreciated."
"I called regarding a different model dishwasher to verify that this item was in stock as it appeared online. I had the good fortune to speak with Ben at the pro desk of store #664. He said he would check and give me a call back. He promptly called back and let me know they didn't have the item I was looking for, but they had a open box item that was a higher end model and it essentially had the features of the model I was looking forand was deeply discounted. I can not experss how pleased I am with Ben's initiative and willingness to go above and beyond! Ben is an exemplary employee and he is a true asset to his store!"
"Nothing like the old Lowe's help is very scarce ended up having to shop at home depot purchased $500 in lighting. I went to 3 different stores looking for lighting no one watch to help you."
"We purchased a stove, but what all Lowes fail to inform their customers is that a 3rd party delivery team make the delivery and they cannot take care of any electric or gas hook-up requirements. They arrived early without notification. They weren't professional, were not knowledgeable about how to proceed with what was required to remove the old stove, made calls and texts to a manager who didn't understand the issue & informed us they couldn't remove the stove as promised. If they created any damage they advised Lowes would hold them financially responsible so they left the old stove halfway out in the kitchen floor. My husband even offered to disconnect the stove if they would move it as promised. They refused and brought in the new stove, but failed to attach the new cord per agreement and left. We had to remove the old stove ourselves. We then noticed a scratch that extended all the way across the drawer of the new stove. We called the delivery service and were provided with little help. We returned to Lowes to discuss the issue only to be told it was out of their hands and to call the delivery service again. They offered a discount to keep the damaged stove, but we advised we wanted a replacement. They cannot pick up the damaged stove for 3 days and cannot order the new replacement until it's back at their warehouse. We've had no stove for 2 days and the damaged stove is sitting in our family room. We spoke with a manager who was of no help in getting the issue resolved quickly. She advised we could discuss compensation for our problems after the replacement process was completed. They cannot tell us when to expect the new replacement stove. Why can they offer a discount to accept the damaged stove, but not discuss compensation until after the replacement is delivered? We advised this was poor customer service and we will not be purchasing any appliances from Lowes again. We've heard others indicate they've dealt with the same issues. They sale the appliances, but once they have your $$ they do not care about the customer or their appliances being provided & set up as promised. They created the issue, but do nothing to take care of correcting the problem in a timely manner and don't care about how the customer is being inconvenienced."
"One star for customer service. There are some longtime and new employees who do a great job, attentive to customers. There is also an assistant manager who consistently ignores customers who need assistance. I’ve had negative experiences with this guy four times in the last year. He chats with customers and employees while customers obviously wait for assistance. Less than two weeks ago I hit a call button three times while he huddled with several employees 15 feet away and ignored the call for assistance. Just today at checkout he ignored the obvious assistance light at self checkout from just a few feet away. This guy is essentially trains employees to ignore customers who’ve initiated a request for assistance."
