"Attempted to eat here (as we have many times.) Floor was sticky. Restroom needed cleaning. Our food came out and was taken to the table directly beside us. We watched as the server allowed the folks to pick over our food and declare it wasn’t theirs. Then the server took it back and we watched the entire time as the brought it right back out to us. We refused to eat it since it had been touched by other patrons. We actually asked if that was the same food and the server declared “yes” seeming to imply “of course.” We were able to see directly into the kitchen. The server took the food back and talked with the manager. The manager himself placed it back under a heat lamp. Our waitress came back and we related the info to her. She was appalled and said she would personally go throw it away herself. We decided to leave. As we exited the waitress, manager, and server were all standing by the food (still under the heat lamp) discussing the situation. The waitress said “oh there are leaving” the manager never made a move. Clearly Red Robin in Roanoke has management issues and the entire staff needs training on health code. Good luck to you if you eat here under the current management."

"We like to eat out at Red Robin from time to time and decided to get an order of burgers from this location during our trip to Charleston, SC to visit my parents for Thanksgiving. The burgers were slapped together in a very “half-assed” manner. The fries were OLD and nasty! (We love their fries, we didn’t even eat this order’s fries! They were nasty!) The sides were old and almost every container was contaminated with other food items (cross contamination). We ate the burgers as they were (no mayo or mustard was offered, just a small handful of ketchup packets) & every one of us had an upset stomach the next morning! I cannot with good conscience recommend this location to any travelers staying in hotels near the airport! The staff was polite when delivering our order curbside. The local atmosphere looked clean and inviting."

"I’ll start off by saying we were hungry with 3 kids between ages 2-9. So we are easily frustrated with bad service. Now that I got that out of the way we were at Red Robin on Saturday 11/25 and we had a mediocre experience. It wasn’t great but they did acknowledge us and although they weren’t quick they did get us what we needed in a reasonable time. However this is where I have an issue with the service. It was in the quality of the food. It was accurate but everything was cold like it had been sitting for 10-15 minutes before it got to the table. Usually we love Red Robin food but that day was just off. My wife and I do not plan on coming back as the quality of the food isn’t what it used to be. I’m not sure where the disconnect was either with the cook of the waitresses but it made the experience “meh” at best. Again we were hungry and it was between 1-2pm. Again Red Robin’s food is usually good and deserving of 4 stars but not yesterday. 2 stars is too disrespectful to but a solid 2.5 to 3 stars."

"Lucia is an amazing server and made us feel very welcome! The food was delicious and cooked perfectly! The bathroom and restaurant as a whole was very clean and we thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our dinner experience. Edit: This was our first time at Red Robin. We don't have one where we live. We definitely need one."
