"Terrible. I would laugh if I could at someone’s review of being so happy to find a place with “authentic” Thai food. First off, that cannot be found except in true Thai communities in the US. I have experienced this first hand. This food I ate is the furthest from that. That shared, I also like the US version of Thai food when it is good. This was terrible. My Pad Thai noodles were a brick too difficult to work through without scraping some off. The shrimp had no flavor at all and there was no egg. Well. I could not see any egg. The lime was too hard to squeeze for moisture. I even tried adding the leftover peanut sauce from my fresh roll. Nope. No help. With any of it. Onto the fresh roll. Worthless. Both ends open and not wound tight at all so everything was falling out. The sweet potato puffs were largely void of potato, not full, greasy and less than underwhelming. So disappointed."

"The best Thai restaurant in Charlottesville. Authentic Thai dishes, and the best Pho. Super friendly staff, and convenient location. Well worth the wait when they are busy. Always remember, when a restaurant is packed with happy guests, it is because they are a great restaurant. Sometimes if a restaurant is understaffed, the staff that is there are working twice as hard. Be kind."

"This is the best Thai restaurant in Charlottesville, hands down. I went there for the first time since the pandemic, and while many restaurants have much lower quality food and service now, this one is better than I remember. It's locally owned, the owner lives just a block away, and the staff is very friendly; they didn't mind that we stayed half an hour after we finished our meal to talk and catch up with the friends we met there. The quality of the appetizers and entrees is fantastic and blows away any other Thai place in town. I will definitely go back."
