Burger Bach

"In short: creativity is better than their execution. My order: North Lamb with fries and truffle aioli. Also got a kiwi cocktail. North lamb: creative lamburger. Difficult to eat, was too “slippery”. Flavour was 7/10. Bun wasn’t it. Seemed to be flattened. The patty itself was ultra flat, not very juicy. The amount of “wet” ingredients with the lettuce made it just so hard to enjoy. Kiwi cocktail: tasty and unique. 8/10, the crushed ice made it difficult to enjoy all the tasty kiwi at the bottom. Fries: 3/10. Pass on these. Not crispy, quite flimsy. Aioli was good but closer to 5/10. Kinda greasey too. Ambiance: I ate outside, which was awesome. A nice area and plenty of outdoor seating. Service was friendly and fast. Other: I definitely think it has potential, however I don’t think it’s the “best burger in the US”…. In fact I don’t even think it’s the best burger in VA."

"My daughter had the Southern Gent (minus pickled onions & mayo) and I had the East Coast. Both burgers were delicious! We each had fries (my daughter had wanted ranch, but they only have specialty sauces) plus a side of Mac & cheese which was very creamy. Our server was helpful and pleasant. We will be back!"

"I had an enjoyable southern burger with excellent pimento. The fries were very good. I will say the portions are a little small for what you are paying. I feel like of you catch this place at the right time it's 5 stars and if you catch it at the wrong time it's a 3. Note my pics are very close up. The burger bun was full size. The patty is not. And the fries look large but they were very few."

"I have been looking for a good burger place and this one is excellent. There are a good selection of flavorful burgers and I chose the North Lamb. I was not disappointed! The burger was cooked perfectly, the garlic aoili was tasty, and the tzatziki sauce was heavenly. The fries were good and the honey mustard sauce was amazing. I would have given 5 stars except for two things: one it took a really long time to get the food (it was lunch time, but not crowded) and two I asked a different waiter than mine to bring me some ketchup but after three times of him walking by and looking at me he never brought it. Honestly it wasn't too much to ask. Any way, the food was great and the price was very reasonable. Will return soon."
