"Quaint little Breakfast and lunch cafe. We enjoyed a very good breakfast, fast service and friendly staff. It’s good to support local businesses as we pasted through Lewisburg, WV. The Market is located in the beautiful & historic downtown area."
"Bad Food & Worse Attitudes I’ll start by saying the woman at the counter was pleasant & did what she could to assist me. Overall, I had the most pitiful turkey sandwich I’ve ever seen, I’d literally rather eat a school lunch, and paid $15 (w/ tip) for it. The menu said the sandwich came with Swiss & I decided to add cheddar. When I received the sandwich, it had only American cheese. I took it back & this is where my issue started. The “cook” started arguing with me about whether it said Swiss on the ticket, even though it’s literally listed on the menu. Then, when she was wrong about that she started arguing with me about the clearly American cheese on my sandwich actually being cheddar because she made it. So she added the Swiss but refused to give me cheddar. With that already being a sour encounter, she proceeded to complain loudly about having to fix my order. As a black Woman, stopping in West Virginia, I knew to expect less than pleasant interactions but the food could at least be decent if it’s going to be served with a side of racism."
"The employees were pretty rude to me because I looked different and stand out but I didn't care because the food was ready quick. Yuck! It was ok."
"We had a delightful lunch here yesterday during the town's Chocolate Festival. After consuming way more sweets than normal, we wanted a solid lunch and we saw a lunch special on a sign board that was right up our alley. It was a bacon and tomato grilled cheese sandwich and a bowl of tomato basil soup. Both of us ordered this, and we chose marbled rye and whole wheat. It was five-star delicious, and we were thrilled that the meal also included a bag of chips and oyster crackers for the soup. I wish I had packed a cooler because I definitely would have bought more soup to take home. In addition to the great food, all of the employees were so friendly and welcoming. The Chocolate Festival brings in many people to the town, and these workers treat everyone like their best friend. Kudos to management for hiring excellent people! I visit a few Lewisburg, WV a few times a year, and this will be my restaurant of choice."
"Best food in town! They have sandwiches, wraps, soups. Basic but tasty menu. All for a reasonable price. Never dissatisfied when I choose this place for lunch, which is rather often. If you're in a rush and don't have time to sit down and wait 30 minutes for your food, I suggest this place. Usual wait time is 10-15 min."
