"This is a takeout place with a few seats. Not a date night place. I stopped by off of the highway. I ordered House Special Fried Rice and asked if the pork could be switched for beef. The reply: "NO!" Rude and she placed my change on the counter. How this place continues to function is a mystery. If I weren't traveling, I would have walked out."

"Friendly and efficient. Been customers for over 20 years. Good portions of food in every order. Good quality. Can eat in, but most people order takeout."

"Since moving to Staunton we are still trying to find our new favorite restaurants. We found a favorite at China City in Verona. The pictures don't reflect how delicious the Fried Dumplings and Egg Foo Young were. We had a classic Chinese food and movie night at home and really enjoyed it."

"This is the house special lo mein. Very good! My favorite dish from here is pork egg foo young. Holy smokes! That sauce is amazing. Where I'm from Chinese restaurants use brown gravy. China City uses I think hoisin sauce with theirs. It is heated so it won't cool off your food. I'll post a pic of that when I find it lol I always ask for my egg roll to be cooked extra. It brings out such a better flavor and the skin is crispy. It's worth the drive if you're not in Verona."
