"This little tucked in restaurant and hotel saved our lives. My family and I are from out of town and had to fight bad weather conditions. The area does not have cell service for some carriers so this place offered WiFi, food and a nice place to wait out the bad weather. Very friendly people with kind hearts. If you are on route 250 and face bad weather try to get to this place! They will take care of you."

"On a family road trip a few years ago, our car broke down during the winter. One of the owners of this restaurant (or rather their family) took us down to this town, gave us a place to stay and fixed our car. Without their kindness we might’ve frozen on the side of the road. Great restaurant with hearty food, 10/10 recommend."

"The accommodations here are fine, but keep in mind that all contact is done through the restaurant, and many times they're difficult to reach due to staffing shortages. Make sure that after you have your reservation, you start calling a couple days ahead of time to get your room code. I was told to call before 8 PM if was going to arrive late, but due to staffing shortages, they closed at 2 that day, and they forgot to look to see if anyone was arriving. I started calling at about 6, and never got an answer. I arrived after 10 PM to an empty town with no cellular service and no way to get in my room. I happened upon a couple people walking who knew how to reach the owner, but if I had known to call a couple days ahead of time, I could have been provided the code to get in and everything would have been fine. There are a few rooms with a common lounge area with a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker, plus the wifi is fast. They were very accommodating letting me charge my motorcycle at the front of the car wash next door."

"Booked last minute, our friends were there - they gave our friends keys to our rooms and said we could pay the next morning! Great people, good breakfast - a good placed that still works on the honor system. Great experience and super comfy beds!! Not the most up to date place, but a neat place to stay and the folks were super!!"
