Massanutten Ski Lodge

"Went snow tubing with friends. The lines are very long, staff heavily regulated who can start sliding down and when, which is incredibly inefficient. Whatever chemical they add to the snow also slows you down with each hill on the slope so people regularly get stuck midway down. We only got to go down 3 times in 90 minutes. Might be fun if you're taking toddlers, but I would never come here again. It was a total waste of money and such a disappointment. You're better off going to the Wisp. You'll get your money's worth there with the number of runs and you can actually make it down the hill each time."

"Love it here. They have SO much to do, plus this is one of my favorite ski places. Everything is so smooth + well organized. All the staff members are super helpful. Love this place."

"Of all the ski resorts in the region this one is the most forgettable, one good green, the other up the creekside lift is busier but you can’t keep any speed, the snow on top is icy and featureless. Lots of families on intermediate slopes with little kids that have no business being there. I saw a lot of safety issues watching teens fly down the slope right into areas with 4-5 year olds who can’t ski. Ski patrol was rude and seemed to enjoy skiing more than keeping the little kids safe. Really really wish I could get my money back. Will stick with snowshoe and wintergreen."

"Many great trails for all levels. Lifts are quick loading (at least on weekdays). Grills have good food and drinks, but can be pricey. Can't wait to return."

"This is a very nicely ran ski resort, the staff we're all very friendly and helpful, the lift lines went fast and the skiing was amazing, I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to go skiing in Virginia."
