"Falls Church is becoming the go-to spot for new cafes! Godfrey's is a nice addition. While for me the coffee wouldn't keep me going back, the food and pasties will! So much variety and the food didn't just look good, it tasted great! I can't wait to go back! One thing I will say is make sure they get your coffee order right before leaving. I asked for almond milk and ended up with whole milk."

"Always a great experience at Godfrey’s. So many staff that are always customer focused. Also of note, there is no outrageous default tip screen that many places have. Food is delicious and fresh, most recently had the breakfast croissant and the pistachio bread. Have not tried everything yet, but wouldn’t hesitate to order any of their pastries. At 730AM, downstairs was pretty much full but upstairs, completely empty. From past experience, expect limited seating any time during the day. Upstairs is also very echo-y, so when it’s packed it may be hard to hear. But other than that, the atmosphere is exactly what you would want from a bustling cafe/coffee shop. There’s lots of parking in the back, but also expect it to be full during prime time."

"The place was great and nice. The atmosphere was as it should be for a place like this good and relaxing. Anyone can bring their friends and hang out here they have awesome coffee and pastries. I tried the hot chocolate and it was amazing also the plane croissant was delicious. I recommend this place for breakfast and also brunch. The staff was friendly as it should be they treated me well as with my friends also. The price was average and acceptable for the place and it’s uniqueness. I recommend this place if you are looking for quality and tasty food and drinks."

"The atmosphere here is a perfect blend of cozy and spacious. There are multiple seating options, including high-top tables and comfy couches by the fireplaces. The variety of seating areas, from the front patio to the upstairs, offers ample space, and the decor has a charming Pottery Barn vibe. The food is both delicious and fresh, and the coffee is tasty. They have a great selection of baked goods, sandwiches, pizza, and cheeseboards. It's a fantastic place to enjoy a casual lunch or grab drinks and snacks with friends. Our visit was thoroughly enjoyable."
